Call Now: 904-383-7448A certificate of registration as a registered architect shall be valid for two years and shall be renewed biennially as provided by rule of the board. It is unlawful to identify oneself as being able to practice architecture in this state without a current and valid registration in this state. An applicant for a renewal of a certificate of registration shall meet such professional development requirements as the board may require by rule or regulation. Such rule or regulation shall describe professional development activities acceptable to the board and the form of documentation of such activities required by the board. The board shall be authorized to waive the professional development requirement in cases of hardship, disability, age, illness, or under such other circumstances as the board deems appropriate. Failure to meet the minimum qualifications for renewal of a license shall be grounds for denial of a renewal application.
