Magistrate's power in dispossessory proceeding.

- Magistrate court had the authority to enter an order in a dispossessory action directing the landlord to perform repairs to the tenant's apartment, as a magistrate court was entitled to exercise such powers as were necessary in aid of its jurisdiction, or to protect or effectuate its judgments. H. J. Russell & Co. v. Manuel, 264 Ga. App. 273, 590 S.E.2d 250 (2003).
