Restricted areas.
It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a vessel on the water of this state in any area which has been clearly marked in accordance with, and as authorized by the laws of this state, by buoys or some other distinguishing device as a bathing, swimming or other restricted area. This section shall not apply in the case of an emergency or to patrol or rescue vessels.
