The sheriff of the county in which the property to be condemned is located shall coordinate the meeting of commissioners, shall arrange an appropriate meeting place for commissioners, shall assure that appointed commissioners receive the order of the court appointing them and directing their attendance at the meeting of commissioners, and shall report the unavailability or absence of appointed commissioners to the chief judge, to the applicant, and to the landowner. 2000 Acts, ch 1179, §13, 30
