Larned juvenile correctional facility
76-3204. Larned juvenile correctional facility. On and after July 1, 1997, the name of the youth center at Larned is hereby changed to the Larned juvenile correctional facility. On and after July 1, 1997, any reference to the youth center at Larned, or words of like effect, in any statutes, contract or other document shall be deemed to apply to the Larned juvenile correctional facility. The Larned juvenile correctional facility shall be under the supervision and control of the commissioner of juvenile justice in accordance with K.S.A. 76-3203, and amendments thereto. All juvenile offenders placed in the Larned juvenile correctional facility shall be subject to the laws applicable to any other juvenile correctional facility, as defined by K.S.A. 38-2302, and amendments thereto.
