Ky. Rev. Stat. § 18A.2286 (2026)

If the hospital and medical insurance coverage provided under KRS 161.675 contains any limitation for pre-existing conditions, a member of the Teachers' Retirement System who retires for disability under KRS 161.661 shall be offered the right to continue coverage under the self-funded plan until any such limitation has expired. The terms and conditions for continuation of group policies under KRS 304.18-110 shall apply to the continuation coverage offered under this section.
