(1) The board shall promulgate administrative regulations in accordance with KRS Chapter 13A concerning the continuing education required for the renewal of a home inspector license and shall: (a) Establish procedures for approving organizations that provide continuing education; and (b) Prescribe the content, duration, and organization of continuing education courses that contribute to the competence of home inspectors. (2) (a) A licensee who has initiated continuing education courses prior to the date established through an administrative regulation promulgated by the board in accordance with KRS Chapter 13A shall have five (5) days after the established date to complete them. (b) The board may not cancel a license for failure to complete continuing education courses until ten (10) days after the date established by the board.
