(1) An "authorized" insurer is one duly authorized by a subsisting certificate of authority issued by the commissioner to transact insurance in this state.

(2) An "unauthorized" insurer is one not so authorized. Effective: July 15, 2010 History: Amended 2010 Ky. Acts ch. 24, sec. 909, effective July 15, 2010. -- Created 1970 Ky. Acts ch. 301, subtit. 1, sec. 10, effective June 18, 1970.
