State v. Knowles, 371 A.2d 624 (Me. 1977). “2 Pursuant to 15 M.R.S.A. § 2601' et seq., a juvenile petition alleging commission of the acts in question was filed on December 4, 1974 in the District Court (District Three, Division of Southern Penobscot) sitting as the “juvenile court.”
