418.285 Authority of department same as child-caring agency under ORS 418.270 to 418.280. In addition to other powers and responsibilities of the Department of Human Services, the department has the same authority as a child-caring agency under ORS 418.270 to 418.280. In exercising this authority, the department shall comply with the provisions of ORS 418.270 to 418.280 in the same manner as a child-caring agency.
