Consideration of recommendations of committing court; case planning

      419C.486 Consideration of recommendations of committing court; case planning. To ensure effective planning for adjudicated youths committed to its custody, the Oregon Youth Authority shall take into consideration recommendations and information provided by the committing court before placement in any facility. The youth authority shall ensure that the case planning in any case:

      (1) Serves the purposes of and is consistent with the principles of ORS 419C.001;

      (2) Incorporates the perspective of the adjudicated youth and the family; and

      (3) Is integrated with the efforts of other agencies responsible for providing services to the adjudicated youth or the family. [1993 c.33 §240; 1995 c.770 §2; 2003 c.396 §121; 2005 c.159 §1; 2021 c.489 §84]
