      477.445 Committee oversight of distribution of fire emergency funds. The Emergency Fire Cost Committee shall:

      (1) Oversee the distribution of funds from the Oregon Forest Land Protection Fund established under ORS 477.750.

      (2) Review expenditures from the fund.

      (3) Review budgets for forest protection districts and provide recommendations on the budgets to the State Board of Forestry.

      (4) Prior to the beginning of each fiscal year, distribute payments in their entirety as directed by the fiscal year budgets of forest protection districts to the State Forestry Department and forest protection districts. [Formerly 527.282; 1967 c.429 §6; 1981 c.321 §7; 2025 c.581 §20]
