Authority to contribute to innovation fund
(a)Authority to Contribute to NATO Innovation Fund.—Within amounts authorized by law for such purpose during the five-year period following the date of the enactment of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2025, the Secretary of Defense may contribute to the NATO Innovation Fund a total amount of no more than $200,000,000.(b)Definitions.—In this section:(1) The term “NATO” means the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.(2) The term “NATO Innovation Fund” means the multi-sovereign, investment venture capital fund of NATO that provides secure investment in dual-use, high-impact technology.(Added Pub.
