Rule 3.01. Composition of Record. (a) The record shall consist of: (1) The original documents and exhibits filed in the trial court; (2) The transcript of proceedings or any designated portion (if the pro- ceedings were not recorded or transcribed in accordance with these rules, the electronic audio recording of the proceedings, or any designated portion); and (3) A certified copy of the docket entries prepared by the clerk of the trial court. (b) The transmitted record shall consist of all portions of the record designated by the parties to the appeal for transmission to the appellate court, as described in Rule 3.05 (b), (c) and (d).
