Rule 7.09. Pleadings in Original Cases. (a) In all cases originally commenced in the Supreme Court, the party shall file that pleading, along with the filing fee required by Rule 2.09 or a motion to proceed in forma pauperis, with the clerk of the Supreme Court. Any party against whom such relief is sought shall file such response and briefs as the court may direct. (b) Rule 1.01 applies.
