Sylvester Marx v. Centran Corporation
But see Russell v. Continental Illinois National Bank & Trust, 479 F.2d 131 (7th Cir.), cert. denied, 414 U.S. 1040 , 94 S.Ct. 541 , 38 L.Ed.2d 331 (1973). 2 Since § 24 is within “this chapter," that is, since both § 24 and § 93 are contained in chapter 2 of title 12 of the United States Code, it is clear that Marx may maintain a cause of action both directly and derivatively for the benefit of Centran for violations of § 24. *1541 The district court correctly determined, however, that the defendants did not violate § 24.
