These regulations are issued pursuant to sections 501 and 524(b) of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, as amended by the Crime Control Act of 1973, Public Law 93-83, 87 Stat. 197, 42 U.S.C. 3701, et seq. (Act), 28 U.S.C. 534, Public Law 92-544, 86 Stat. 1115, and Public Law 117-159, 136 Stat. 1331.
