F.S. 472.037472.037 Application of ss. 472.001-472.037.—(1) Nothing contained in ss. 472.001-472.037 shall be construed to repeal, amend, limit, or otherwise affect any local building code or zoning law or ordinance, now or hereafter enacted, which is more restrictive with respect to the services of registered surveyors and mappers than the provisions of ss. 472.001-472.037. (2) In counties or municipalities that issue building permits, such permits shall not be issued in any case where it is apparent from the application for such building permit that the provisions of ss. 472.001-472.037 have been violated. However, this shall not authorize the withholding of building permits in any cases within the exempt classes set forth in ss. 472.001-472.037.
