Should any party required by Code Section 10-4-76 to make an affidavit as to an adverse lien, title, or claim to cotton offered to a warehouseman for storage make a false affidavit, he shall be guilty of a
felony and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by imprisonment and labor in the penitentiary for not less than three years nor more than ten years.
