JUDICIAL DECISIONS Editor’s notes. - In light of the similarity of the statutory provisions, decisions under former Code Section 15-11-110, which was subsequently repealed but was succeeded by provisions in this Code section, are included in the annotations for this Code section. Standard of proof. - Former Parental Notification Act, former O.C.G.A. § 15-11-110 et seq. (see now O.C.G.A.

§ 15-11-680 et seq.), did not require a quantum of proof greater than a preponderance of the evidence. The juvenile court was not tasked with balancing any broader societal interests; thus, there was no basis for imposing a heightened ‘‘clear and convincing’’ standard of proof. In the Interest of Doe, 319 Ga. App. 574, 737 S.E.2d 581 (2013) (decided under former O.C.G.A. § 15-11-110).
