Where local laws duplicate or supplement the provisions of this chapter, this chapter shall be construed as providing alternative remedies and not as preempting the field.

- Ga. L. 1998, p. 270, § 8, effective April 1, 1998, repealed former Code Section 16-15-6, pertaining to exemption of labor organization activities, and renumbered former Code Section 16-15-7 as present Code Section 16-15-6. The former Code section was based on Ga. L. 1992, p. 3236, § 1.
