Section 5. Drug Abuse Treatment and Education Programs, 26-5-1 through 26-5-62.

ARTICLE 2 NARCOTIC TREATMENT PROGRAMS ENFORCEMENT

26-5-49. Rewards and financial incentives prohibited.

  1. Narcotic treatment programs shall not provide a bounty, free services, free medication, or other rewards for patient referral to such program.
  2. Narcotic treatment programs shall not provide temporary discounted financial incentives to a potential patient that does not conform to the schedule of fees established by such program as required by the department's rules and regulations.
  3. Narcotic treatment programs shall not provide discounted fees for services during the first 90 days of treatment.
  4. Subsections (b) and (c) of this Code section shall not apply to drug dependent pregnant females.
