ARTICLE 2 CHILDHOOD LEAD EXPOSURE CONTROL

31-47-3. Acceptance of grants; compliance with federal requirements.

  1. The commissioner of public health may accept grants, services, and property from the federal government, foundations, organizations, medical schools, and other entities as may be available for the purposes of fulfilling the obligations of this chapter.
  2. The commissioner of public health shall seek any federal waiver or waivers that may be necessary to maximize funds from the federal government to implement this chapter.

The 2011 amendment, effective July 1, 2011, substituted "commissioner of public health" for "commissioner of community health" in subsections (a) and (b).
