The 2014 amendment, effective July 1, 2014, in subsection (b), substituted "one or more individuals as dog control officers" for "an individual as dog control officer" in the first sentence and, in the second sentence, substituted "An individual" for "A person" at the beginning and substituted "he or she" for "the person" in the middle. - Ga. L. 2014, p. 371, § 6/SB 290, not codified by the General Assembly, provides: "This Act shall become effective on July 1, 2014, and shall apply to all violations and confiscations which occur on or after that date."
