TITLE 43 PROFESSIONS AND BUSINESSES

Section 11. Dentists, Dental Hygienists, and Dental Assistants, 43-11-1 through 43-11-82.

ARTICLE 1 GENERAL PROVISIONS

43-11-21.2. Report of morbidity or mortality.

  1. All dentists licensed to practice in Georgia shall submit a complete report to the board of any morbidity or mortality occurring in the course of such dentist's practice or other injury which results in temporary or permanent physical injury requiring any period of hospitalization. This report shall be filed with the board no later than 30 days following such incident and shall contain such information as the board shall deem necessary to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
  2. Any report received by the board pursuant to this Code section shall be subject to the limitations on disclosure set forth in paragraph (2) of subsection (h) of Code Section 43-11-47.
