TITLE 43 PROFESSIONS AND BUSINESSES

Section 34. Physicians, Acupuncture, Physician Assistants, Cancer and Glaucoma Treatment, Respiratory Care, Clinical Perfusionists, and Orthotics and Prosthetics Practice, 43-34-1 through 43-34-290.

ARTICLE 3 ACUPUNCTURE

43-34-67. License renewal requirements; inactive status.

  1. A license issued under this article shall be renewed biennially if the person holding such license is not in violation of this article at the time of application for renewal and if the application fulfills current requirements of continuing education as established by the board.
  2. Each person licensed under this article is responsible for renewing his or her license before the expiration date.
  3. Under procedures and conditions established by the board, a license holder may request that his or her license be declared inactive. The licensee may apply for active status at any time and, upon meeting the conditions set by the board, shall be declared active.
