ARTICLE 2 FACTORY BUILT BUILDINGS AND DWELLING UNITS

8-2-119. Applicability of part.

The provisions of this part shall not apply to Part 2 of this article relating to manufactured homes.

OPINIONS OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL

Federal preemption.

- National Manufactured Housing Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974, 42 U.S.C. § 5401 et seq., does not preempt O.C.G.A. Pt. 1, Ch. 2, T. 8, but may preempt certain other portions of the Georgia statute dealing with factory built buildings and dwelling units, O.C.G.A. § 8-2-130 et seq. 1984 Op. Att'y Gen. No. 84-4.
