Unless displaced by the provisions of this chapter, the principles of law and equity, including the law merchant and the law relating to principal and agent, estoppel, laches, fraud, misrepresentation, duress, coercion, mistake, insolvency, or other validating or invalidating cause, supplement its provisions. 94 Acts, ch 1121, §14 C95, §684.10 2016 Acts, ch 1040, §14, 15 C2017, §684.12 Former §684.12 transferred to §684.15; 2016 Acts, ch 1040, §14\n\n 684.13 Uniformity of application and construction.
