Wanton neglect of a resident of a health care facility

1. A person commits wanton neglect of a resident of a health care facility when the person knowingly acts in a manner likely to be injurious to the physical or mental welfare of a resident of a health care facility as defined in section 135C.1.\n\nTue Dec 09 21:55:40 2025 Iowa Code 2026, Chapter 726 (43, 1) 11 PROTECTIONS — FAMILY, DEPENDENTS, ELDERLY, OTHERS, §726.28\n\n 2.
