Iowa Code § 8.82 (2026)

If a service provided by the department and funded from an internal service fund established under section 8.92 ceases to be provided and insufficient funds remain in the fund to pay any outstanding debts and liabilities relating to that service, the director shall notify the general assembly and request that moneys be appropriated from the general fund of the state to pay such debts and liabilities. 2013 Acts, ch 129, §17 C2014, §8B.16 2024 Acts, ch 1185, §64, 85 C2025, §8.82
