40-2209c. Same; application of act; construction of K.S.A. 40-2209. The provisions of this act shall apply to health benefit plans covering small employers as defined herein. Where the provisions of K.S.A. 40-2209, and amendments thereto, are not inconsistent with these provisions, they shall be construed as supplemental to and not in derogation or limitation of any requirements, prohibitions or restrictions contained herein.
