Creation of public health taxing districts

Public health taxing districts created pursuant to this section prior to July 13, 1984, shall constitute and be a taxing district within the meaning of Section 157 of the Constitution of Kentucky. The members of the county or city-county board of health shall, by virtue of their office, constitute and be the governing body of the public health taxing district and shall perform the duties attendant thereto in addition to their duties as members of the county or city-county board of health. The officers of the county or city-county board of health shall be the officers of the public health taxing district. Effective: July 13, 1984 History: Amended 1984 Ky.
