(1) The governing body of each county may establish an animal licensing program by ordinance. It shall be the responsibility of each county to administer and enforce its licensing program. (2) In addition to the licensing program provided in subsection (1) of this section, any city may establish an animal licensing program by ordinance. It shall be the responsibility of the city to administer and enforce its licensing program. Effective: July 13, 2004 History: Amended 2004 Ky.
