The General Assembly in enacting KRS 365.561 to 365.613 intends to provide a system of state trademark registration and protection substantially consistent with the federal system of trademark registration and protection under the Trademark Act of 1946, as amended. The construction given the federal act shall be examined as persuasive authority for interpreting and constructing KRS 365.561 to 365.613. Effective: July 15, 1994 History: Created 1994 Ky.
