As used in KRS 61.252: (1) "City agency" means any board, commission, authority, nonstock corporation, or other entity created by a city, either individually or jointly with any other unit of local government; (2) "Contract" means any agreement for the sale, lease, or purchase of any interest in real or personal property or the provision of any service; and (3) "Officer" means any person, whether compensated or not, and whether full-time or part-time, who is an elected or appointed officer of a city, or who is a member of the governing board of any city agency.
