(1) The purchasing agent shall make all purchases of supplies, goods, wares and merchandise ordered by the fiscal court to be purchased for county purposes. (2) Said purchasing agent shall be paid for his services a salary to be fixed by the fiscal court of the county and to be paid in equal monthly installments out of the county levy.
