5 U.S.C. App. 2 § 1

The Federal Advisory Committee Act was set out in the Appendix to Title 5 until Pub. L. 117–286 (Dec. 27, 2022) substantially repealed it there and restated it in Title 5 itself (now 5 U.S.C. § 1001 et seq.). The rest of the Title 5 Appendix still exists.

Where § 1 went, according to the Office of the Law Revision Counsel (the Table Showing Disposition of All Sections of Title 5 Appendix, preceding 5 U.S.C. § 101):

• § 1 → Not repealed but omitted from the text of title 5. Section 1 of the Federal Advisory Committee Act ( Public Law 92–463 , 86 Stat. 770 ) provides a short title for the Act.
