NRS
679B.120 General powers and duties of Commissioner. The Commissioner shall:
1. Organize and manage the Division, and
direct and supervise all its activities;
2. Execute the duties imposed upon him or
her by this Code;
3. Enforce the provisions of this Code;
4. Have the powers and authority expressly
conferred upon him or her by or reasonably implied from the provisions of this
Code;
5. Conduct such examinations and
investigations of insurance matters, in addition to examinations and
investigations expressly authorized, as he or she may deem proper upon
reasonable and probable cause to determine whether any person has violated any
provision of this Code or to secure information useful in the lawful
enforcement or administration of any such provision; and
6. Have such additional powers and duties
as may be provided by other laws of this State.
